Patrick J. Adams Reveals Meghan Markle Finally Sent Him What He’d Been Waiting So Long For
The Duchess of Sussex has shared jars of her signature jam with many of her high-profile friends.
Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand has become an unexpected sensation within a very short span of time. While the brand offers a wide range of products, including jellies, marmalades, edible oils, and different kinds of spreads, one of the most popular items is the jam. It has sparked massive buzz on the internet, with thousands of social media posts, reviews, and even some criticism keeping it in the spotlight. In recent news, it has been revealed that one of Meghan's former Suits co-stars, Patrick J Adams, also received his share of the now-famous homemade jam.
Since 2024, the Duchess of Sussex has shared several jars of her signature jam with many of her high-profile friends, including Kris Jenner, Mindy Kaling, and some of her former Suits co-stars like Abigail Spencer. However, during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Patrick revealed to host Amanda Hirsch that he never actually received any jam from As Ever, as reported by People Magazine. The topic came up when he was asked by the host whether he had ever received a handwritten note from Meghan, and the actor confirmed he had, praising her penmanship as 'impeccable.'
Right then, Amanda shared that she, too, had been sent a note—along with the jam from As Ever. Upon hearing this, the actor immediately said, "You got a jam? I didn't get a jam," before joking, "How was the jam? Be real… We should taste the jam. We should crack it open." Amanda then claimed that he might need to “get on the list,” playfully teasing him about missing out. She also revealed she still hasn’t opened her jar, as it feels too special to use, and even the handwritten note from Meghan is carefully placed in its own box.
As the clip went viral, Meghan shared her reaction and wrote, "Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom." Now, just days later, on April 9th, the former Suits actor took to his Instagram to share that a delicious selection of the jams has now been sent to him. The photograph featured five jars and a wooden chopping board, which had 'as ever' engraved on it, and the caption read, "Worth the wait! Thank you @meghan for the deliciousness and thank you @notskinnybutnotfat for helping raise awareness about my jamlessness."

Meghan and Patrick spent several years working together on Suits, portraying colleagues-turned-love interests throughout the show’s run from 2011 to 2018. They exited the series after its seventh season, and soon after this, Meghan left her acting career behind to marry Prince Harry. Meanwhile, during the same podcast, Patrick and Amanda also spoke about the constant hate that the Duchess is currently getting, with the actor even saying, “What she’s gone through is insane.”
