Meghan Markle is celebrating her 45th birthday on Tuesday. Amid the wishes the Duchess of Sussex might be receiving on her special day, she might encounter an amusing old video of Prince Harry pranking her. The resurfaced clip is from the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler, British Columbia, following the Duke of Sussex’s on-stage speech.

After Harry delivered an address at the Whistler Welcome Celebration on the second day of the Invictus Games, Markle joined him on stage. She appeared to be shivering in the freezing temperatures, as she hugged her husband, rubbing his hands with hers. The Duke, always known for his rib-tickling humor, found the perfect opportunity to trick his wife, as he announced, “Now she’s gonna sing.” The guests burst into laughter as Markle looked shocked and turned around to catch her husband, who was fleeing the scene. The couple giggled before Harry added, “Guys, thank you so much!” The Duchess also expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you, everybody. Have the best time!” Watch the video here!

Through the hilariously sweet moment, the pair offered fans a small glimpse into their home life, which they have kept private over the past several years. They walked off the stage holding each other’s hands and looking adorable in their heavy winter clothing. While Harry had chosen a grey beanie and an Invictus Games-branded puffer jacket, Markle had opted for a black beanie and a white puffer trench coat that she layered over a black shirt and matching trousers.

Markle will certainly spend her milestone birthday surrounded by her loved ones. Fans will be waiting to see how she celebrates her special day. Last year, the Duchess rang in her 44th at Funke in Beverly Hills. She mentioned that the meal prepared by Chef Evan Funke and his team was in the “top five meals” of her life. She further thanked the culinary expert for a “standout dining experience” in an Instagram post of her blowing the candles on her birthday cake.

Over the past year, Markle has given small glimpses of her family life in Montecito through her social media page. This year, she shared how she and Harry celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duchess had baked a lemon elderflower cake - the same flavor as their wedding cake in 2018. It is now left to be seen if she puts on the chef’s hat for her birthday as well.
