Meghan Markle 'Worried' as Popular Prince William and Kate Middleton to Split Time Between U.K. and U.S. for Foundation
Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, could be set to spend time in America thanks to their Royal Foundation. The future king and queen are patenting their charitable organization in the States, which has royal fans "over the moon" and Meghan Markle "sick with worry."
"Meghan was quite shocked when she found out that Kate and William plan to do more work in America after trademarking their foundation's brand with authorities," a source spilled.
They added, "Although they have made a couple of trips to the U.S. it's not really part of their territory and now Meghan feels they could be moving in on her turf."
The Prince and Princess of Wales' foundation is said to sound similar to Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell, which is said to have the exiled Duchess "even more inflamed."
"The last thing Meghan wants is to compete with the world's most famous royal couple," a Hollywood insider dished." She is trying to launch this ridiculous big comeback for what must be the third or fourth time since 2020. She also has 'Duchess Difficult' swirling around her — Meghan is not a happy camper right now. It's like her worst nightmare come true."
Another insider shared, "For Meghan, it just feels like another blow, as Harry is making more of a life for himself in America and doing big events without her, like the one he did in New York last week. And she already knows how popular Kate and William are in the U.S. and with their own Hollywood popularity seemingly dwindling, she doesn't feel comfortable with them making any trips across the pond right now because they will no doubt be a huge fanfare."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were once adored by Americans, but this is now "no longer the case" as their rivals have taken their place.
"Kate and William are making inroads into America, which wasn't a given because of what Harry and Meghan said in the Oprah interview, what was said in their Netflix documentary, and of course in Spare," broadcaster Sarah Hewson dished in November last year.
The royal commentator highlighted how the Princess of Wales is starting to bedazzle the U.S. in ways that Meghan cannot seem to pull off. "The Americans love her. So I do think there will be a sense of frustration from Harry and Meghan seeing all of this play out. I think they will be feeling isolated, and I think they will be angry."
Meghan is currently mired down in a controversy "of the likes she rarely has seen" thanks to The Hollywood Reporter blowing the lead off allegations of workplace harassment against the Duchess.
Daily Mirror reported on the insider revelations.
