Royal commentator Jennie Bond told an outlet that 2025 for the Sussexes will likely be all about their Netflix contract's expiration date. "I guess this depends on whether Netflix extends their contract," she said. "The success or otherwise of Meghan's show could dictate the future. Television is a hotly competitive field and Harry and Meghan's own story was the big one for Netflix. After that, it's hard to see exactly what they have to offer. They are not producers and learning on the job is not easy."

Since their departure from royal duties in 2020, the couple envisioned a united front in the entertainment industry. However, recent setbacks — including the termination of their Spotify deal in 2023 and public criticism of their royal commentaries —have prompted a reevaluation.

Their joint appearance in a video message at the Global Ministerial Conference on Violence Against Children further dispels separation rumors, showcasing their united front on significant issues.

The Duke has also addressed divorce speculations, humorously stating, "I’ve actually thought about it quite a bit over the years, and in the past, I probably would have been a little bit more nervous."

The success of this professional divergence hinges on individual achievements. Meghan's endeavors, in particular, are under the microscope. As royal commentator Helena Chard observes, "Meghan's success will dictate her professional future alongside Prince Harry as the couple continues to pursue separate projects."
