Fergie Pushed Epstein to Marry a Mystery Woman with a 'Great Body,' New Emails Reveal
Trigger Warning: This article contains themes of child sexual abuse that some readers may find distressing.
Newly released documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files have cast a harsh spotlight on Sarah Ferguson, revealing a series of personal email exchanges with the disgraced financier. The correspondence, dating back to 2009, suggests a startling level of familiarity between the former Duchess of York and Epstein following his initial release from prison. According to the unsealed records, she repeatedly encouraged the late financier to marry an unnamed woman, citing her physical appearance as a primary selling point.
Shortly after Epstein completed a 13-month sentence for soliciting s-- from a minor, Ferguson wrote to him on September 17, 2009, regarding a woman, making a blunt suggestion, “You can marry her too. She is single and [sic] a great body.” In a separate, cryptic follow-up, the former Duchess appeared to suggest she and the disgraced financier could form a domestic arrangement to keep the women nearby, adding, “Ok well, marry me and then we will employ her.” If these bombshell revelations weren’t shocking enough, then the newly released files also clarify the timeline of social interactions between the York family and Epstein.
Despite his status as a registered s-- offender, messages between the two suggest that the former Duchess arranged for her daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, then aged 19 and 20 respectively, to meet him for lunch. On July 1, 2009, Ferguson emailed him to coordinate the visit. “What address shall we come to. It will be myself, Beatrice, and Eugenie. Are we having lunch?” she wrote, with the financier later confirming that the meeting had taken place in a message to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, noting, “ferg and the two girls come [sic] yesterday.” The fresh disclosures also suggest that Epstein sought to build social connections between the young princesses and his inner circle.
In June 2009, he messaged the former Duchess and Eva Dubin, wife of billionaire Glenn Dubin, to organize a meeting between his goddaughter Celine Dubin and the York sisters. “My goddaughter will be in London from July 8-9, eva will be with her…let’s [sic] come up with a fun idea,” he wrote in the email. The content of these messages has been another blow to Ferguson’s already dwindling public standing. So much so that her once inseparable bond with her daughters is going through immense strain. As per reports, Eugenie has drawn a firm line between her own family and her parents.
While the York sisters remain blameless in the entire Epstein saga, time and again, they have also faced repercussions of their parents' controversial past ties. Although Beatrice is still on talking terms with her parents, Eugenie has had enough. “I know that Eugenie feels like she’s being tarnished with a brush that’s not hers, that’s her father’s,” a close friend of the princess told Page Six, also observing, “She’s very, very frustrated.” While both are trying their best to look past all the scandals in ‘good spirits,’ the friend suggested “it’s a s--- show, a never-ending s--- show.”
