Donald Trump Slams Meghan Markle For Being 'Very Disrespectful' To Queen Elizabeth: 'I'm Not A Fan Of Hers'
Former President Donald Trump is making it known that he doesn't like Meghan Markle. While chatting with GB News host Nigel Farage, he didn't hold back when speaking about the former actress, 40.
“I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one,” the politician, 75, stated. “I’m not a fan of hers at all, and I think she’s very disrespectful to the Queen. I think [Markle] is very disrespectful to the royal family, but maybe most importantly to the Queen."
Trump called the 95-year-old "such a great woman, such a great person, a historic person."
The TV star and her husband, Prince Harry, 37, decided to quit the royal family in 2020 and move to California.
“I think Harry has been used horribly and I think someday he will regret it,” Trump said of the red-headed royal leaving the U.K. “I think it’s ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen."
“I wish a lot of luck to Harry, because he’s gonna need it," he added.
Trump also touched upon when Meghan used her title, the Duchess of Sussex, when cold-calling senators about paid parental leave.
“She is trying do things that I think are very inappropriate,” he stated.
There's been rumors that Meghan may run for office in 2024 — a move that Trump is considering as well.
"I hope that happens because if that happened then I think I'd have an even stronger feeling towards running," he shared.
This is hardly the first time Trump has lashed out at Meghan. After the pair revealed they would no longer be living in the U.K., he tweeted: "I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the US however, the US will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!"
