Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s resentment towards Prince William is said to have reached a boiling point. The former is reportedly harboring a desire to see the latter humbled after his active role in banishing him from the Royal Lodge. As tensions within the Windsor household continue to mount, an insider claims Mountbatten-Windsor is determined to seek revenge on his nephew.

A royal insider quoted by Women’s Day, spilled, “It’s common knowledge that William was the driving force behind the King’s decision to strip the Yorks of their titles, and now he’s pushing hard behind the scenes to get him evicted from Royal Lodge and banished entirely – preferably overseas… Andrew is well aware of that, and he’s absolutely furious.”

The insider added that Mountbatten-Windsor feels betrayed by William, especially since they once shared a warm bond. With resentment fuelling him, the disgraced royal is allegedly considering an unlikely alliance with Prince Harry. As per the insider, the 65-year-old wishes to operate on the saying, “My enemy’s enemy is my friend.” Mountbatten-Windsor is said to believe Harry could be a useful ally in undermining William’s authority within the Firm. The insider added, "It's highly unlikely he'll have any luck getting through to Meghan because she's known to be disgusted by him, but Andrew's hopeful he can get through to Harry and [he's] pushing Eugenie to help make it happen... He was grateful that Harry went out of his way to deny rumors of a fight between them and would like to thank him for doing that, whilst brainstorming ways they can cut William down to size together."

Mountbatten-Windsor’s anger comes from his titles, style, and honors being revoked after renewed scrutiny over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. The source suggested that William continues to push for the former royal to vacate his home of more than 20 years and has no sympathy for his uncle. William reportedly has wanted him gone for years. As the new emails surfaced proving Mountbatten-Windsor had lied about his ties to Epstein, it gave William “the perfect excuse to take his father aside, along with other senior courtiers,” and they “collectively put their feet down” on his uncle's demotion.

While Mountbatten-Windsor may be plotting his revenge, the Prince of Wales is said to be focused on a far broader concern: the risk his uncle's continued presence poses for he monarchy. As per The Times, royal expert Roya Nikkah explained that the matter is deeply important to William because if the 'Andrew issue' remains unresolved, it will inevitably land in his 'in tray' when he becomes king.

Looking ahead, Nikkah made it clear that William’s approach will differ sharply from his father’s. She claimed, “When William is King, Andrew will be banned from all elements of royal life. He will be excluded from public and private royal events, including the coronation, and banned from most state occasions.” Summing up William’s stance, she added pointedly, “The next monarch will be more ruthless.”
