Abha Anindita fell in love with stories through Enid Blyton, Harry Potter, and her own way of romanticising nature. But it was the morning ritual of reading newspapers as a child that established her belief in the power of words, and helped her discover that journalism was her true calling. She knew early on that storytelling and words could be a force for change. She moved to Shillong to study literature, and later pursued a master’s in mass communication, gaining the best of both worlds, the rigour of reporting and the art of storytelling. In a journalism career spanning five years, she found her purpose in telling extraordinary stories of ordinary people.
