Royal Wings of Sorrow: Prince William's Pilot Plans for Prince George Serve as a 'Sad Reminder' of Prince Harry's Distant Relationship with His Nephew

Harry, Duke of Sussex, is reportedly 'sad' that he will not see Prince George grow up and take up his passion of piloting.

Prince Williams's revelation that his eldest child and future heir, Prince George, becoming a "potential pilot in the making" reportedly has fellow aviation fan Prince Harry feeling "sad."

This insight led royal author Tom Quinn to share, "William's hints that his son George might follow in his footsteps and become a pilot will certainly remind Harry of everything he is missing — after all Harry was himself a helicopter pilot and would love to entertain his nephew with tales of his own time in the air."

The scribe poignantly added, "It's a sad reminder that he has no relationship at all with George."

This follows the Prince of Wales and Kate, Princess of Wales' wish to reportedly want to see their niece and nephew, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, but Meghan Markle has refused creating an unfortunate "heir and spare" drama.

"There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the U.K.," Quinn told an outlet in April. "William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far."

As for George specifically, the future king turned 11 on July 22, and his official photograph released that day led numerous analysts to comment on how mature and poised His Royal Highness looked.

Body language expert Judi James praised Prince William in her assessment by stating, "Thanks to William’s careful, hands-on induction of his eldest son, George has slowly evolved from a rather shy-looking small boy into a more confident, responsible and happily still joyful-looking eleven-year-old."

Heirs to the British throne throughout the centuries have typically been raised in a rigid and far more public-facing life in line with the Crown's ancient code of lifetime service for its monarchs in serving their people. However, the future King George VII is different, and even his childhood has been less duty-bound than his father's was during the 1980s and 1990s. Numerous royal commentators credit the future queen with this new trend in line "with how modern society functions."

"Shouting is absolutely 'off limits' for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal," a Wales estate insider revealed.

If any of the royal kids step out of line, spankings and such are said to be forbidden, but William and his future queen employ a more unique approach to discipline.

"The naughty child is taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William," they added. "Things are explained and consequences outlined and they never shout at them."
