Prince Harry’s Close Pal Reveals the 'Annoying' Habit That Drives His Friends Crazy
According to JJ Chalmers, Prince Harry has an annoying habit that makes nights with friends awkward!
While Prince Harry is often seen as one of the world’s most controversial royals, his close friends have a very different perspective on him. However, they do admit he has a rather "annoying" habit that can make their nights out together surprisingly awkward. This was made clear when the Duke of Sussex and his close friend, Invictus Games competitor JJ Chalmers, appeared together on the latest episode of Joe Marler Will See You Now.
The dynamic duo served together in Afghanistan back in the day and have remained close ever since, making Chalmers privy to Harry’s preferences and habits—including the ones that can be both extra and annoying. Unsurprisingly, he didn’t hesitate to share this during the episode. When Marler asked him to reveal Harry’s most annoying habit, Chalmers openly confessed that the Duke’s apparent inability to stay angry can actually be supremely bothersome.
Furthermore, while discussing Harry’s night outs with the gang, Chalmers exclaimed, “We’ve never had big, big sessions. You’re always on your best behavior!” He further added, “A lot of the time when we’re out, it’s like an Invictus Gala, or it’s like some sort of thing. And we’re in the corner, the lads, because you know, you get a bunch of veterans together, and he’s, well, he’s, you’re sometimes like a parent, really. You have to sort of look out.” However, Harry also defended himself as he said with a smile, “Well, I don’t want to be; I kind of want the guys to have their own fun, and with me comes extra prying eyes, so it’s a tricky one.”
To this, Chalmers responded with an understanding nod, adding with a warm smile, “And that, for the record, that’s not on you personally; that’s the annoying bit.” He also went on to share how Harry loves spending time with his friends, often insisting on buying a round of drinks for everyone. It is clear that both Harry and Chalmers are looking forward to the Invictus Games, which return to Birmingham next year. Ultimately, the candid exchange offered a rare glimpse into Harry’s off-duty personality, showing that despite the royal spotlight, his closest friends know the real him and still see him as just 'one of the lads.'
