Prince Harry Might Be Coming Back to the U.K. More Often — And It's Not Just to See Family

He reportedly wants to reconnect with his extended family and his plethora of charities in the U.K.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a rather grand reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, last month, at Highgrove House, the King’s spectacular country home. It seems like this had left the Duke feeling super 'refreshed' and 'energized.' Furthermore, his feelings about returning to the U.K. seem to have taken quite a turn, following the same. According to a new report, it seems like Harry is excited to return to the U.K., “every few months.” In fact, according to a recent report by The Times, the Duke plans to visit as much as he can, especially over the next year.

This includes his visit next month, especially for the WellChild Awards. For this, he plans to be in the U.K. for about a week, and it isn’t clear whether he will meet with the King, as the Monarch will be at Balmoral Castle during this time. It’s also unclear whether Markle and the children would accompany him on the trip. If one thing is clear, it is that Harry would reportedly love to see his family more frequently, while also effectively working to support his share of charities in the country. Apparently, this can only happen if the Duke visits in person more often. While discussing this, an insider close to Harry also told The Times that the Duke has some serious plans.

They exclaimed, “The template for his visits has been working well, so the frequency of trips will increase, especially in the run-up to Invictus, which he’s determined to make the best Games yet. So he’ll be coming back and forth a lot more, every few months!” They further added, “The way the wind is blowing, he’s going to want to be here more and more. He’s happy these trips can now have more focus on the patronages and be less obscured by the other nonsense. He wants more of a foothold here, more trips back, less courtroom drama. And he always loves seeing his family.” These claims have made it very clear that Harry is definitely making a comeback.

However, at the end of the day, the question is whether he would be welcomed by the Royal family with open arms. Furthermore, ardent Royal fans have been wondering how Prince William is going to react to Harry’s apparent plans. While speaking about the brothers’ relationship, the former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Mirror that “William, as far as we can see, seems set on concentrating on his own family and his work without the angst of dealing with his rift with Harry.” However, she made it very clear that if he continues to come back to see his father and family, William will eventually understand that he can no longer ignore the scene, which could lead to a positive change. Now, it all depends on how the baby steps Harry takes towards home turn out.
