Prince Harry Hints At Meghan Markle's Next Career Move — and It's Not Movies
The rumour mills are already buzzing with reports of Meghan's possibly joining Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen, and now we have another fun update.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK a few weeks ago after spending six years in the US, and while their return has already sparked plenty of speculation about what comes next for the couple, Markle’s professional plans are also getting attention. The rumor mills were already buzzing with reports of Markle possibly joining Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen season three, and while there has been no official confirmation of it, the Prince has now seemingly reacted to his wife's next career move.
Harry recently attended the WellChild Awards 2026 and engaged in a fun conversation with Magic Radio presenter Gaby Roslin. What started as a light-hearted conversation quickly turned into a potential career pitch for Markle. The interview began with Harry showing off his playful side and doing his impression of the Magic Radio slogan. Gaby then decided to make a rather interesting suggestion. Roslin proposed, “Do you want a show on Magic? Your wife could do a show on Magic. She loves Magic!”
In response, the Prince nodded in confirmation that his wife indeed was a fan of magic. When Roslin asked if she would actually want her own show, Harry joked, “We haven’t talked about it, but I can take this back to her.” The host continued, suggesting that Markle could host a Christmas show, before pointing towards her boss, Magic Content Director Paul Sylvester, who was nearby. Harry then turned towards him and said, “We’re going to have a word,” before adding, “Finally you’ve come; we need to have a serious conversation”.
While to many Harry's words may seem to have been said in jest, the idea is not completely out of the blue. Markle has previously spoken about her love for Magic Radio. During the second season of With Love, Meghan, she told Tan France that Magic Radio was “one of the things I miss most about the UK”. Interestingly, there has also reportedly been a real offer in the past.
According to The Telegraph, Sylvester previously said that conversations had taken place with the Sussex team and that an offer was on the table if Meghan wanted to add a radio presenter to her CV. While Markle's return to acting is still in the talks, podcasting or eventually taking up Harry’s rather unexpected radio pitch can definitely be on the cards.
