Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle Sr., has been accused of child sexual abuse, with authorities continuing their investigation into the disturbing allegations. Evidence has reportedly been uncovered by Philippine police, and now the FBI has also been drawn into the case, with a new development raising further questions.

The latest claims centre on two storage units in Los Angeles, which Markle Sr. reportedly rented to keep a collection of personal belongings. These include items belonging to his daughter, the Duchess of Sussex, alongside memorabilia from his own life. His son, Thomas Markle Jr., is said to have given the FBI the location of both units.
The development follows an earlier discovery by the Daily Mail, which reportedly found a collection of alleged child abuse materials inside a storage locker rented by the accused in Rosarito, Mexico. The publication alerted the FBI to its findings last week, after which Mexican authorities carried out a raid on the facility.
Recalling a conversation from around 2011, Markle Jr. said his father had mentioned keeping two storage units filled with belongings from Markle's earlier years. Among the items were furniture and possessions she had accumulated while studying at Northwestern University in Illinois. The units also held keepsakes from Markle Sr.'s years working in Hollywood, including items connected to his career as a lighting director.

Markle Jr. said, “My father told me about the two units years ago. He's had them for about 15 years.” He continued, “I dread to think what the FBI might find, especially given what has already been found in the Philippines and Mexico.”
In the Philippines, police are reportedly close to filing formal charges against Thomas Markle Sr. after allegedly finding illicit material at his apartment. Investigators have also been going through several devices recovered from the property, including computers, mobile phones, and storage drives. Among the initial findings was reportedly a video showing children of Asian and White backgrounds.

Furthermore, Markle’s estranged father has also recently been moved to another care facility in Florida. The 82-year-old was transferred from his rehabilitation centre to a specialist memory-care facility on October 30, according to reports. He had been receiving treatment and learning to use a prosthetic limb following the amputation of his lower left leg. The new facility caters to patients with cognitive conditions, including dementia.
