King Charles owns an impressive collection of castles and country retreats across the UK. Among them, Balmoral Castle holds a special place in his heart, serving as the royal family's sanctuary for summer. The Castle’s social media page spotlights the King’s business ventures while showcasing its majestic grandeur. On October 15, royal watchers were treated to a vibrant glimpse of Balmoral’s colorful gardens on Instagram. In the wee hours of the morning, Balmoral's Instagram handle posted three different angles of the garden’s grounds with the caption, "The morning light at Balmoral was truly magical today." The first and second pictures highlighted the pink flower beds with neatly pruned hedges, while the third showcased the sun beaming down on the Castle.

Balmoral's gardens had royal fans saying the same thing. A netizen gushed, "My God, that is heavenly beautiful. Harmony and peace, how wonderful amidst all the terrible, bad news." In a similar vein, another remarked, "So atmospheric! It’s a breathtaking place 💚" Meanwhile, a royal watcher penned, "Oh my word, this heaven with the gates shut 😍 what a stunning photo." As the comments poured in, another echoed, "Such beauty and imagination with the topiary."

Balmoral Castle is known for its incredible beauty and rich history. The Castle was first acquired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1852 and sits on 50,000 acres of land. Now, the property is privately owned by Charles, which means it is not part of the Crown Estate, and he can do what he pleases. The property was the late Queen's favorite residence, and she spent her final days at Balmoral, becoming the first British monarch to pass away there on September 8, 2022.

For his part, Charles has expressed deep affection for Balmoral, calling it his 'paradise in the Highlands.' He has highlighted the estate's tranquil environment and its significance as a cherished summer retreat. Known for being a gardening savant, he oversaw the additions of the Thistle Maze and the Celtic Ballroom Maze, both reflecting his commitment to preserving the natural environment. Spanning over 45 acres, the gardens feature a variety of landscapes, including formal gardens, woodland areas, and riverside walks.

The same day as the Balmoral pictures, Charles's team also promoted a wreath-making class in a follow-up post. The caption partly read, "It may be October, but it’s never too early to start planning for the festive season. Join us at Balmoral for a truly special experience as we welcome the holidays with our Christmas Wreath Making Workshops." Along with fun workshops and tours, the monarch sells products such as home accessories, food, drinks, clothing, and souvenirs at the Castle.
