Beautiful! Kate Middleton looked stunning in three gorgeous photos, which were posted to Instagram ahead of her 40th birthday, which is on Sunday, January 9.
In the first snapshot, the mom-of-three donned a white, flowy dress, and she wore diamond and pearl drop earrings, which belonged to Princess Diana. "Delighted to share a new portrait of The Duchess ahead of her 40th birthday tomorrow. This is one of three new portraits which will enter the permanent collection of the @nationalportraitgallery, of which The Duchess is Patron," the caption read.
"The three new portraits which have been released to mark the occasion will be shown in the community in three meaningful places: Berkshire, St Andrews, and Anglesey, as part of the @NationalPortraitGallery nationwide ‘Coming Home’ exhibition, ahead of the Gallery reopening in 2023," the message read, which featured a photo of Kate wearing a one-shoulder dress and sporting a pair of diamond earrings, which belong to Queen Elizabeth.
Lastly, Kate smiled for the camera in a black-and-white photo while wearing a ruffle dress.
"Thank you for all of your very kind birthday wishes, and to Paolo and the National Portrait Gallery for these three special portraits. C," the note read.
Of course, people loved the portraits. One person wrote, "Our beautiful future Queen! Stunning photos ??," while another added, "THE FUTURE QUEEN IS ALWAYS STUNNING ?????."

As The Royal Observer previously reported, the Duchess will be having an intimate gathering due to COVID-19 cases rising around the world.
"Her 40th birthday is likely to be celebrated privately," commentator Richard Fitzwilliams shared. "Covid restrictions remain in place, this means that it is likely to be scaled down and she reportedly didn’t want a large celebration anyway. A new photograph is expected to be released."
