PRINCE William and Kate Middleton have reportedly curated a well-thought-out plan about what they share about their kids.

Prince William of Wales and Princess Kate have often given royal watchers a glimpse into their family life through photographs and videos that sometimes even feature their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, these moments are relatively rare, and there is a reason behind their carefully chosen approach.

Speaking exclusively to The Royal Observer, royal expert Pandora Forsyth discussed how Prince William and Princess Kate balance their public roles with their children's privacy during a conversation with our Associate Editor, Josh Rom. The conversation stemmed from the duo being absolutely in love with Louis's cute Halloween picture of him trying to pick up a pumpkin. The Princess of Wales clicked the photograph when Louis was just one year old, and this was one of the rarest instances where the Royal family was seen indirectly marking the festival.

Forsyth shared that while it may look normal to many, William and Kate actually have a thought-out plan for what they share about their kids. "Everything that they release from the Princess and the Prince of Wales now is so incredibly thought out about their children. And they would not release something without really thinking about it first," she said. She added that although the couple understands the public's interest in George, Charlotte, and Louis, they have chosen to share photographs in small doses. "I think they know that the public wants to see more of the children, but it's very much drip-drip, which is very much part of their strategy," the editor opined.

This approach allows William and Kate to acknowledge the public's affection for their family without making their children's lives an open book. Rather than regularly sharing photographs, they tend to reserve them for special occasions, including birthdays and Christmas. During the same conversation, royal commentator Lydia Alty also discussed the significance of the Halloween photograph and whether it could become a new tradition for the Wales family.

She pointed out that the royal family has traditionally shared only a limited number of photographs of the children, adding that their decision to release the image reflected a monarchy that is gradually embracing modern celebrations. However, Lydia was also quick to highlight why the couple's careful approach makes sense. "Quite rightly so, because obviously they're still children, you know, they're still in school, they're still doing their studies, and obviously they're not working members of the royal family yet."

The experts during the conversation highlighted how William and Kate are navigating a changing royal landscape. While public interest in their children continues to grow, the couple appear determined to let George, Charlotte, and Louis enjoy as normal a childhood as possible, away from constant public attention.
