After the release of the Epstein files, many famous public figures who long avoided accountability were exposed for their controversial actions. While Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor remains the most infamous among them, Les Wexner, the former CEO of Victoria's Secret, also made headlines for his close friendship with the disgraced financier. Recently, when pressed before the US Congress, Wexner described a 'funny story' involving Mountbatten-Windsor, claiming the former prince had unexpectedly tried to sell him an airplane.
As reported by The Sun, during the deposition, Wexner said he received a 'cold call' from 'Andrew Windsor,' who reportedly offered to act as his advisor on airplane transactions. He revealed, "I had no conversations or interactions with Prince Andrew about women or anything. I had one brief, like two-sentence, funny conversation [with Prince Andrew]." Noting how Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly told him that he had helped the late Queen Elizabeth buy an aircraft, he continued, "I said, 'Hello,' and he [Andrew] said, 'Uh, you know, I helped my mother buy her airplane and I know that you buy and sell airplanes, so if I could be of service, with you and airplane transactions, I could help.'"
The former Victoria's Secret CEO further spilled how he "laughed my a** off that the Duke of York called me about that." When an official from the House Oversight Committee asked, "So, he [Andrew] offered to advise you on purchasing an airplane?… I'm just trying to understand why the Prince of York would be calling you about that?" Wexner responded, "Yeah, me too. It was out of the blue." It remains unknown when the call occurred or if it happened during Mountbatten-Windsor's tenure as the UK's trade envoy.
As for Wexner's ties to Epstein, he came under immense scrutiny after it was revealed that he granted the disgraced financier unprecedented control over his finances. He is also believed to have sold Epstein his seven-story Manhattan townhouse and the jet, later dubbed the 'Lolita Express,' at discounted prices. The aircraft was allegedly used to traffic several underage girls, with Virginia Giuffre said to have traveled on it for her encounter with Mountbatten-Windsor. Their friendship lasted nearly two decades before Wexner cut Epstein off in 2007, claiming he had discovered the financier misappropriating millions of dollars.
Unsurprisingly, Mountbatten-Windsor is said to have traveled by the 'Lolita Express' several times in the past. According to The Mirror, the Epstein files allegedly contain surveillance logs, interview transcripts, operational notes, and the flight records of the disgraced financier's longest-serving pilot, Larry Visoski. While Epstein's pilot, David Rodgers, has reportedly named Mountbatten-Windsor on the infamous 'Lolita Express,' Visoski's records are far more scathing. An insider stressed, "Visoski flew many more trips to various destinations, with numerous VIPs. Those records are expected to name individuals not previously linked to Epstein's movements, and yes, Andrew is on them."
