Meghan Markle recently admitted on her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, about not knowing what to call herself if she were to write a resume. The Duchess of Sussex also hinted at a potential career in fashion after the launch of her new merchandise. Reacting to the resume remark, royal expert Esther Krakue opined that Markle should own up to the fact that she’s simply a hot woman who married a prince.
As reported by the Daily Mail, in the final episode, Markle told her guest Sara Blakely, “If I had to write a résumé, I don't know what I would call myself. I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in, where none of us are one note.” Her comments didn't sit well with Krakue, who claimed that Markle badly wants to be someone she isn’t. Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, she argued, “I just think this, her trying to posit herself as a champion of women and trying to shoehorn this particularly niche view of the world into something that's a bit more nuanced and complicated.” The expert added, “You're hot. You married a Prince. Give us the tea. That's all we need from her.”
Krakue continued, “She's not a chemist. She's not a physicist...Sometimes it's OK to just be pretty and to have good fortune in life and to ride that wave.” Reflecting on Markle's various projects, the expert claimed that she has “arguably not done very well.” She added, “She doesn't see it the way that most of the world is, which is that she has a very rich husband. What she's doing is low risk.” Nevertheless, Krakue wished the Duchess ‘success’ as she pursues the Season 2 renewal of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Interestingly, while Markle claimed that she did not know how to describe herself, an old photo of her resume highlighted her ‘special skills.’ The Daily Mail reports that after Markle's comments hit the press, her CV before her marriage was shared online. Interestingly, the last role listed on it was her first professional film role, where she played the part of ‘Natalie Hot Chick,’ eerily echoing Krakue’s claims. The Duchess was 24 when she wrote the CV. Her special skills include proficiency in French and Spanish, dancing, and kickboxing.

The Duchess of Sussex has previously addressed criticism that alleged that she's not relatable to most people. In an interview with The New York Times, she said, “Don’t they know my life hasn’t always been like this?” The article mentions that before meeting her now-husband, Prince Harry, Markle was divorced, in her mid-30s, and unsure of what and where her next job or home would be.
