The former Prince Andrew has been stripped of his Royal titles and evicted from the Royal Lodge, which he will be evacuating by the end of 2025. While he and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have become social pariahs, their two daughters - Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have somehow managed to maintain their place with the family, but of course, not without some help.

Their uncle, King Charles, is trying to get them involved in Royal duties, and now, they have another supporter in the form of their sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales has allegedly invited the two York sisters to her upcoming annual Christmas celebration. The event is organized by Kate in all its entirety, so the fact that the two York sisters might have gotten the invitation comes from Kate herself.

This is her fifth “Together at Christmas” carol event, and she has decided to show a united front of the Royal Family by involving Beatrice and Eugenie, even though their parents won't be a part of the celebration. Royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News Digital that "Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office."

As the annual Christmas event is her baby, Kate has the last word on everything, so it is not a coincidence that the sisters got a personal invitation. "This is Catherine’s project, and she has the final say — very similar to the way Prince William operates Earthshot," said Sean. "Above all, yes, the royal family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year."

But it does pose a predicament for the sisters - on one hand, there is the media scrutiny if they show up at the event. On the other hand, if they don't, it would look like they were snubbing Kate, and in turn the Royal Family itself. So it really is a puzzle they need to solve, and soon. As Sean said, "This puts the sisters in a very difficult dilemma. If they don’t attend, it looks like they’re snubbing a prestigious invite. If they do attend, they know there could be a media circus with them at the center of attention."

They don't have a lot of time before a decision needs to be made, though. The Princess of Wales' "Together at Christmas" carol service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Westminster Abbey, and there is less than 2 weeks to that. The event is also set to feature performances from guests like Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dan Smith, and Hannah Waddingham.
