After Prince George's Eton Debut, Archie and Lilibet Start New School Year in the UK
Harry and Meghan’s return to Britain enters a new phase as Archie and Lilibet begin school in the U.K.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be settling well into their new life in the U.K. after moving back with their children. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are starting a new chapter of their own, as sources reveal they have begun the new school year in Britain.
Since returning to Britain, Harry and Markle have largely been focused on helping their children adjust to the family’s new surroundings. As per PEOPLE, a source close to the Sussexes said that settling Archie and Lilibet “has been, and remains, their focus.” The source added, “Everything else will fall into place when the time is right.” The insider continued, “There is a lot to do. They have just moved halfway across the world, and it’s been really busy getting the kids settled. Their focus has been on that, and will remain on that, for the time being. They are happy to be back.”
As Archie and Lilibet begin the school year, their parents have kept the location of their new home and details about the children’s education out of the public eye.
The family is reportedly staying at a private residence for an extended period while keeping their Montecito property. A source previously told the news outlet that the children’s education was one of the factors behind the family’s decision to return to Britain. They said, “Step by step, they want to be in the U.K. They want to have the time and give the kids the opportunity to be here.”
As the family gets settled, Harry has also started stepping out for work. The Duke was seen at a U.K. film and television studio, Tower Bridge Studios, on September 7, for a secret project, and it is the first time he has been seen since the family's return. On the other hand, Markle is said to see the move as a chance for their children to experience more of their British heritage.
