5 Times Prince William and Prince Harry Might Cross Paths Soon
Brothers At Crossroads
Usually, a 'will they-won't they' situation is used in romantic references, but currently, the phrase fits brotherly estrangement perfectly. Prince William and Prince Harry have not been on speaking terms for several years. While the ties may remain strained even after Harry returned to the UK this week, the once-close siblings may cross paths due to some important occasions in the coming days.
Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day or Armistice Day began as a way to commemorate WWI, but over the years, it has been used to remember everyone who lost their lives in all the wars since. Although Harry is technically not a part of the royal family, he is a military veteran and would want to attend such an important day. This year, Remembrance Day will fall on November 11th. If he does attend, the Duke of Sussex might find himself across the room from his elder brother.
Princess Diana's Death Anniversary
There has been a lot of chatter over William and Harry's reunion for Princess Diana's 30th death anniversary next year. However, the two brothers could face each other for the same poignant moment this year as well. On August 31st, it will be Diana's 29th death anniversary, and the brothers may give a tribute to their mother on the day. Harry reportedly took his kids to see their grandmother's final resting place at Althorp last month.
Eliza Spencer's Wedding
William and Harry's cousin, Lady Eliza Spencer, is marrying long-time partner Channing Millerd, after getting engaged last year. She had previously revealed that the couple was on the hunt for wedding venues. She had also reacted excitedly to Harry's return to the UK. While the date for the nuptials has not been confirmed, it is expected to be in the near future. Both William and Harry will likely attend the ceremony.
King Charles' Birthday
King Charles' birthday is on November 14th, and this year the monarch will celebrate his 78th birthday. Harry and Markle had reunited with his father in a private meeting at Highgrove last month. And Charles, who is a doting grandfather, will want to see all his grandchildren on his special day. So it is definitely possible that William and Harry will find themselves under the same roof, along with their families. It is also likely that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will finally meet Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Christmas at Sandringham
There are a few occasions in the royal calendar that all fans look forward to, because they get to see the entire family gather under one roof. Christmas at the Sandringham estate is one such event. It has been ages since Harry and Meghan Markle attended the family meal, and the hope is that they will this year, now that the couple is in the UK. If the Sussexes do join the family for Christmas this year, they would certainly see William and Kate Middleton. And if the Fab Four could finally reconcile, then it would be a perfect Hallmark ending. A joyous family reunion at Christmas!
