4 Things Prince Harry Has Revealed About Archie and Lilibet Since His UK Return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in August 2026, marking a new chapter after years of living in California. Since then, Harry, in his public appearances, has shared few details about his children and their everyday lives. Some of his revelations have been about the things Archie and Lilibet like, while others have offered a glimpse into their family life.

Harry attended the WellChild Awards in London on September 21, where he spent some time chatting with 10-year-old Will Messer, who had been named Inspirational Child. Their conversation turned to movies and TV, and the Duke revealed that Gladiator is one of his own favorites. However, his children seem to have very different tastes when they get to pick the movie. “Every time my kids want to watch something, it’s Minions. I’m obsessed, but not as much as my kids,” Harry told Hello!. He also mentioned Ice Age, joking, “Who doesn’t love the squirrel with his nut?”

At the same WellChild Awards, Harry also met six-year-old Margot Jones-Billington, who had been named Inspirational Child. He noticed her sparkly shoes and pink dress, which prompted him to share a little detail about his own daughter. “You obviously love sparkles. I have a boy and a girl who are seven and five. My little girl loves sparkles, and she loves pink. That’s her favorite color,” Harry told Margot.

Harry also opened up about his mornings with Archie and Lilibet in a conversation with HELLO! ahead of the WellChild Awards. He shared that the children were dealing with a case of the “Monday morning blues” over breakfast before school, so he decided to tell them about the event he would be attending that evening and the children and families he would meet. “At breakfast this morning, they had a bit of Monday morning blues,” Harry said. He explained that he then told them, “You know what? You’re being a little bit tricky, so I’m going to tell you exactly what I’m doing tonight.” According to the Duke, the conversation quickly changed, and Archie and Lilibet became “genuinely fascinated, asking all sorts of questions.”

Harry also revealed to Hello! the most British things he and his family had been doing since returning to the UK. Apart from walks in the countryside, he revealed that Archie and Lilibet had also embraced one of his favorite British foods. “OK, yes, Marmite on crumpets – please tell me that is a British thing because it has always been in my life and now the kids are eating Marmite on crumpets, which is a big moment for me,” Harry said. He then explained that the children had once “diss[ed]” him for keeping Marmite in the house, but now they “do very much” approve of it.
