About Author
Abha fell in love with stories through Enid Blyton, Harry Potter, and her own way of romanticizing nature. But it was the morning ritual of reading newspapers as a child that instilled in her a belief in the power of words and helped her discover that journalism was her true calling. She started out at The Royal Observer in 2025 writing the royal family stories herself, chasing the daily churn of palace statements and public appearances, learning which details actually mattered. That reporting instinct is what she brings to her current role, where she now edits and produces coverage.
Before The Royal Observer, she cut her teeth at regional newsrooms in India, including The Shillong Times and The Meghalayan, covering everything from local politics to human-interest features.
