JD Vance’s Daughter is Being Called ‘America’s Prince Louis’ at Winter Olympics
There was sport on the ice in Italy this weekend—but it was a four-year-old in the stands who captured much of the attention. During Vice President JD Vance’s appearance at the 2026 Winter Olympics, his youngest daughter, Mirabel, emerged as an unexpected star, with some observers drawing playful comparisons to Britain’s Prince Louis. Mirabel, the daughter of JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, accompanied her parents to several Olympic events, where her animated reactions quickly made their way onto social media.
Dressed in a bright red coat and seen enthusiastically cheering, leaning across her father, and reacting animatedly to the competition, she provided a series of candid moments that were widely shared online. Journalist Megyn Kelly reshared a clip of the youngster’s lively courtside behavior and wrote, “We have our own Prince Louis and she's amazing.” The comment referenced Prince Louis, the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, who is known for his playful expressions and scene-stealing appearances at royal events.

Others on X echoed the comparison. One user wrote, “Little Mirabel and Boss-Baby Prince Louis give the same vibes,” referring to the young royal’s now-famous balcony antics and exaggerated facial expressions at public celebrations. Another simply added, “She's our Prince Louis,” positioning Mirabel as an American equivalent to the cheeky royal favorite.
Some posts imagined a future crossover moment. “LOL! I came here to say I’d love to see Mirabel & Louis at the same event!!” one user joked, while another added, “Total twins lol,” suggesting the two share the same uninhibited charm that often delights crowds.
The comparisons between Mirabel and Prince Louis have resurfaced interest in the young royal’s own reputation for stealing the show—and he is not the only child in the extended Royal Family known for it. As previously reported by the Daily Mail, Louis and his second cousin Lena Tindall have often been seen displaying what the outlet described as “perfectly mirror[ing] each other's cheeky expressions during royal outings.” Lena is the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall. Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, is Prince William’s cousin, making Lena and Louis second cousins.
Observers have long noted the similarities between the two children at high-profile events. The publication said, “If Prince Louis can be a handful at public engagements...Lena Tindall is certainly not far behind.” Both are seven years old, and reports have suggested they are already close friends, frequently seen chatting or laughing together during family appearances.
Their dynamic was particularly visible during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in June 2022. Royal watchers were quick to comment on social media as the pair interacted in the stands. “Everyone talking about Louis but did anyone see Lena?” one fan wrote on X. “She was a whole mood, especially when she turned up with snacks. Louis wanted some but she had priorities. At one point it's clear that she says: No, Louis! And she gives him a look."
