One of the reasons why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to leave the United Kingdom was because the former was apparently sick of being around his sibling.

"The Duchess of Cambridge’s coolness towards Meghan, and William’s alleged bullying contributed to a devastating 'Cain and Abel' fallout between the brothers," biographer Andrew Morton wrote in Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, which was originally published in 2018 and has recently been updated with six new chapters. "Harry was the 'prime mover' in souring relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, but it was Meghan who ‘took the hit.'"

"When Harry flared up in furious defense of his wife, the elder brother persisted," the excerpt continued. "Harry shut off his phone angrily, so William went to speak to him personally. The prince was horrified by what he had just been told about Meghan's alleged behavior, and he wanted to hear what Harry had to say. The showdown between the brothers was fierce and bitter."
