Prince Louis is known for his cheeky antics. Whether it’s Trooping the Color or this year’s VE Day, the youngest Wales keeps finding new ways to tickle the funny bones of royal fans. On May 5, he joined siblings Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and his parents for the military parade. This time, he had royal watchers in stitches as he dramatically mimicked George brushing off his hair from his face.
As reported by Tyla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children sat beside King Charles and Queen Camilla for the parade. While all eyes were on the procession, they were quickly diverted to young Louis. As George sat frustrated with the breeze, running his fingers through his locks to remove them from his face, Louis began imitating his older brother, albeit with some extra ‘snazz’ and exaggeration.
A clip of the same soon made its rounds on X (formerly Twitter), and royal watchers couldn't help but say the same thing. A fan commented, “Prince Louis steals the show every time. And Prince George's reaction: Did you just mimic me?😂😂” Another echoed, “I love when they show that they are normal kids that pester each other! Prince Louis was totally trolling his brother! 😂” A netizen also penned, “So cute, haha! Prince Louis is the funny one in the family.” Another chimed, “Louis doesn't care that his brother is heir to the throne. 🥱 Nothing like siblings to push your buttons!🤣”
While Louis was in the mood for some good old roasting, his brother clearly not impressed with the mockery. Commenting on the same, a royal fan said, “Prince Louis is hilarious, but Prince George doesn’t think it’s funny!” Another chimed, “George looks like he wants to smack his little brother.” A netizen also noted Charlotte's reaction. They said, “Thank goodness, Prince Louis has Princess Charlotte. She will keep him in line. <3 🤣”
The candid brotherly banter was a refreshing break from the more serious feud between William and Prince Harry. Interestingly, it turns out Louis was also quite protective of George during the parade. Body language expert Judi James told The Mirror, “When the anthem was played, he stood to attention like his sister, but he suddenly turned to check out his older brother George behind him.” The expert added, “George was caught with his hands still clasped in front of his body, and, in a complete turnaround, it was the normally playful Louis who seemed to quickly correct him before turning back.” Louis was also seen pestering his father, William, pulling his gold aiguillettes hanging from the shoulder of his RAF uniform.
