Meghan Markle Shares Sweet Concert Photo with Harry — But One Detail Left Royal Fans Quite Unimpressed
Meghan Markle shared new photos of her canoodling with Prince Harry on a date night at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter concert.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert on 9 May. The Duchess' pictures from the night on Instagram featured her cozying up to her husband, belting it out in the crowd. Royal fans, however, were unimpressed and accused Markle of staging her romance with Harry for the cameras. They noted a similar pattern in how Markle posed with Harry and her previous partners.

Markle captioned her post, “About last night…Thank you @beyonce and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love.” The couple didn't shy away from PDA, with Harry seen kissing Markle on the cheek as she flashed a wide grin. As the concert snaps made the rounds on social media, netizens dug up old pictures of her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson. The List reported that despite looking ecstatic in those photos, Markle divorced Engelson shortly after. Fans compared the two photos, with Harry and the other with her ex, and suggested that they looked ‘staged’

A royal watcher commented, "She is always acting! Everything she does is an ACT." In a similar vein, another echoed, "Same poses with all her men, so in a nutshell, Meghan is doing what she loves, playing for the camera." A critic chimed, "It’s clear Meghan is putting on a performance of a happy marriage photo op. ? When we all know, it’s a business arrangement at this point." Some even brought up Markle's other ex, Cory Vitiello. A person penned, "Same vibe with Cory! Harry’s gonna be knockin’ on divorce lawyer’s door soon!" Another chimed, "She did the same with Corey and left him in the dust." Another agreed, "All the ex-boyfriends/husbands who started with pictures like this were dumped soon after."

Markle and Harry are longtime Beyoncé fans and have often been spotted at her concerts. In September 2023, the Sussexes attended her Renaissance World Tour alongside Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland. In their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, Markle even shared a touching message she received from Beyoncé following her royal exit. As per Elle magazine, Markle read the message aloud to Harry, saying,"[Beyoncé] said she wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed." Beyoncé's relationship with the Sussexes goes back to 2019, when she and her husband Jay-Z met the pair at the London premiere of The Lion King, in Leicester Square.
