Meghan Markle's 'As Ever' Glitch Reveals Her Next Business Move — and Suddenly Paris Makes Sense
Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed a new sizing chart for T-shirts briefly appear on 'As Ever's' website before it mysteriously disappeared.
Amid rumors that Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand is struggling financially, she appeared to subtly tease a new business venture before mysteriously deleting the clue. Eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed a new sizing chart for T-shirts briefly appear on As Ever's website, fueling speculation that she may be launching a clothing line. Her surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week last October suddenly seemed significant, as fans believe her interactions with renowned designers hinted at plans to enter the fashion industry herself.
As reported by the Daily Mail, fans were excited for Markle's new business venture, but the display of the size charts was a mistake. A now-deleted picture on the website mentioned that the unisex clothing range would go up to 5XL for adults, which typically fits someone weighing 350 lbs. There was also a special section for children and toddlers. However, after fans checked the website today, the size charts had mysteriously been deleted and replaced with the message, "We can't find what you're looking for." The appearance of the charts is reportedly a 'glitch' on the website developer's part, with the Duchess having 'no plans' to sell clothes. Her spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
The unexpected glitch comes amid reports that Markle's lifestyle brand is struggling, allegedly leaving her and Prince Harry in a precarious financial situation. A source spilled, "I hear she's [Markle's] spiralling badly because she knows nothing is working. The whole thing about her [As Ever] stuff selling out isn't true anymore. I don't think either of them [Harry and Markle] is happy." They also believed that the couple's problems are a lot worse than many assume because of their habit of falling out with the people who could help them make a go of things financially.
Interestingly, the website glitch subtly confirms rumors that Markle is looking to enter the fashion industry and switch from lifestyle. It pretty much explained why she was seen rubbing shoulders with the director of Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Vogue's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, at the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris. Another basis for this gossip is her constant support for female designers. At the 2018 British Fashion Awards, she said, "We have a deep connection to what we wear… Supporting and empowering each other, especially as women. When we choose to wear a certain designer, we're not just a reflection of their creativity and their vision, but we're also an extension of their values."
Moreover, her penchant for selling clothes was visible when she tried to monetize her Australian tour wardrobe while visiting children's hospitals and veterans' museums in the country. The Duchess is an investor at OneOff, a fashion discovery platform from which she earns a share of sales. After landing in Australia, her page had been updated with seven shoppable looks from the visit. Each outfit, worn on what has been billed as a charitable visit, came with a direct 'buy now' link, for which she generated swift and severe backlash.
