Harry and Meghan Just Received the Cutest Homecoming Surprise From Archie and Lilibet
After returning home from Australia, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were greeted with a charming gift at the doorway of their Montecito mansion.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned home to the sweetest surprise from their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. After completing a jam-packed trip to Australia, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were greeted with a charming 'welcome home' banner on the doorway of their Montecito mansion, lovingly made by their kids. With their excitement clearly off the charts, Archie and Lilibet must've also been excited to receive the special gifts their parents brought back for them.

In a short video shared on her Instagram stories, the Duchess of Sussex showed off the 'welcome home banner,' an ode to her children's creativity. She also posted a clip with a pile of Australian souvenirs and treats, her and Harry's own gift for Archie and Lilibet. It included Tim Tams (a popular chocolate biscuit in Australia), candies, various picture books, stickers, and coloring books, as well as handwritten cards, possibly from their fans. As Markle directed the camera to herself, she could be seen sneaking a Tim Tam, something that would certainly not sit well with her kids.
Although Archie and Lilibet did not join their parents in Australia, they were certainly on their minds throughout the grueling four days. As reported by The Telegraph, on day one of her tour, Markle met a young cancer patient named Lily at the Royal Children's Hospital and spoke about how she was the same age as her daughter. Meanwhile, on April 15, at Whitten Oval, home to the Western Bulldogs, Harry was gifted two blue jerseys bearing the names 'Archie' and 'Lilibet' in white. The thoughtful present was handed over before he took part in a Q&A session at a Movember event, where he spoke about his initial struggles with fatherhood.
Harry's meaningful Movember visit also saw him make a heartbreaking confession about Archie. In his address to the crowd, he said, "Every single time I went to work and when I came back, if I was stressed, the moment that I held Archie, he would start crying." Further opening up about the unspoken mental health challenges that men face during the early weeks of fatherhood, he continued, "I think for many guys, you try to think about what service can I provide at this point, because my work here is done to some extent." He did not shy away from admitting, "Those days, weeks, after birth are a real struggle."
As for their successful trip down under, Markle posted another clip on her social media with the caption, "Australia, you have our hearts. (For more photos and details of our trip: Sussex.com/news/)." It included unseen videos of the Royal Children's Hospital, where they were seen mingling with cancer patients and receiving gifts from them. It also included snippets from their Scar Tree Walk in Melbourne. Other videos included Harry supporting Markle's girls' retreat, a sweet date night, and their adventures by the sea.
