Former Royal Girlfriend Brutally Slams Andrew: 'He Think The World Owes Him a Favor'
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor wasn't in the public's good graces long before he was stripped of his titles. Even before his controversial past actions became tabloid fodder, whispers about his crude behavior were already circulating through Palace circles. One person who certainly wasn't a fan is British TV personality Susannah Constantine, who once dated Princess Margaret's son, David Armstrong-Jones. Amid the former Prince's mounting scandals, Constantine made her feelings clear, condemning his entitled conduct behind closed doors.
In a new episode of the podcast, Spooning With Mark Wogan, Constantine shared her opinion on the former Duke of York. When asked if he was often 'misunderstood,' she replied, "In my humble opinion, he is an ignorant, entitled, stupid individual who thinks the world owes him a favor and he is, was, above the law, above reproachment. And for me, that sense of entitlement…It's the worst trait in a human being, so yeah, I'm not a fan." She also discussed her six-year relationship with the second Earl of Snowdon, during which she claimed to have spent time with the former Prince. Commenting on his Royal Navy career, she remarked, "God only knows how he [Mountbatten-Windsor] managed to get a helicopter license because that's difficult," adding that her son is in the Royal Navy and she's well aware that it's tough to get into.
However, Constantine argued that although Mountbatten-Windsor was privileged, his upbringing as a royal spare must not have been easy. She stressed, "You do not have a purpose. Any purpose that you have is not chosen by yourself. Someone like that is born into immense wealth, immense privilege, where does fulfilling your dreams come in?" When it came to his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the TV personality opined that they were 'sensible, nice, charming' women. Reflecting on the qualities of the York sisters, she continued, "For the girls to be like that, there must be elements of their parents that are fantastic, because they did such a good job bringing up their daughters."
Mountbatten-Windsor's alleged privileged and stuck-up behavior, despite losing his royal titles, has long created distrust among his close circle. Commenting on the same, royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror, "I don't think Andrew is the sort of person who will ever feel humble…I think he will expect to have staff in his new home, as I don't imagine he has the first idea about how to cook, clean, or shop." Similar to Bond, royal expert Barbara Davies echoed in an article for the Daily Mail, "He [Mountbatten-Windsor] wants a cook, a housekeeper, and a secretary-cum-butler, plus gardeners – either his own or the use of those already working for the royal family," slamming his over-the-top demands despite now being a commoner.
The former Prince is also said to be entangled in a tiff with the U.S. Congress over an inquiry into his controversial association with Jeffrey Epstein. As Constantine claimed, Mountbatten-Windsor has been actively evading the law despite repeated efforts to secure his corporation. Although he continues to deny all allegations, the cloud of scandal surrounding him only seems to thicken with each passing day.
