The controversy around Sarah Ferguson's past continues to grow. This time, a book claims she had a secret affair with Sean ‘Diddy Combs,’ and allegedly brought Princess Eugenie to one of the music mogul’s scandalous parties back when she was a teenager. The claims appear in an excerpt published by the Daily Mail from Andrew Lownie’s book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.
As per the excerpts, sources revealed to Lownie how Ferguson and Combs had an alleged ‘friends with benefits’ arrangement that lasted several years. They reportedly met for the first time at a New York party hosted by another controversial figure, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2002. An associate of Combs claimed that the pair would often meet in places like Afira and Europe and stay in “luxurious hotels.” Once, they even “stayed at a seven-star hotel that was over $68,170 a night." The insider added that Combs’ 2006 fragrance Unforgivable was inspired by Ferguson’s opinion of “how she liked men to smell.”
The allegation that has created the most scrutiny involves Eugenie. Ferguson allegedly introduced both her daughters, Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, to Combs at several events while they were young kids. One unnamed former royal staff member alleged that Eugenie once accompanied her mother to a Diddy yacht party. She was merely 16 years old at the time. As per the excerpt, the staff remarked, “The fact that she brought Eugenie around was alarming.”
This comes after the US Department of Justice released a huge chunk of Epstein’s files this year. It detailed Ferguson’s ties with the convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. One of the sources from the excerpt also stated, “She had a reputation for being an opportunist and for sleeping with wealthy men.” The excerpt also brings back focus on the 2010 email exchange in which the former Duchess joked to Epstein about Eugenie returning from a ‘shagging weekend’ with her then boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.
Officials representing Combs, Ferguson, or Eugenie have yet to respond to these claims. Currently, the musician is serving a four-year prison sentence after his 2025 conviction on charges related to transportation for p**********n, while Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor continue to face lingering public scrutiny over past associations with Epstein.
