Expert Reveals What Sarah Ferguson's Priority Should Be Before Any Potential Tell-all

Fergie’s rumored interview risks backfiring unless she finally takes accountability for her past associations, suggests a royal expert.

Following the February 19 arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on allegations of misconduct in public office, both the monarchy and the House of York are under immense scrutiny. While the King has clearly distanced himself from his disgraced brother, Sarah Ferguson is allegedly plotting a comeback. However, many see this as a strategic effort to control the narrative, with royal experts warning that if she doesn’t come clean about her past ties with Jeffrey Epstein and take ‘accountability,’ her high-profile tell-all, if it ever takes shape, will be met with immediate skepticism.

Rumors have been swirling for months that the former Duchess of York is seriously considering a six-figure payout for a televised sit-down. While American networks are reportedly racing to land the scoop, royal expert Jared Meade warns that the audience would see right through her high-priced interview. Speaking to GB News, he argued, “Most viewers would assume the interview was an attempt to control the narrative or redirect attention by pointing fingers elsewhere.” The stakes are particularly high following the release of three million Epstein files by the US Department of Justice—a revelation that coincided with the sudden closure of six companies where Ferguson served as a director.

Because of these developments, Maede argues that anything less than total honesty would fail to move the needle. “Without her taking accountability by tackling the Epstein issue head-on and being completely transparent about her involvement, the interview would only deepen the public’s skepticism,” the royal expert added. Maede believes that any sit-down she agrees to now would inevitably force her to answer difficult questions about her former husband’s ties to the disgraced financier and the serious allegations he currently faces. While Fergie weighs her options, the prospect of her going ‘rogue’ has reportedly left aides on edge.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are said to be concerned about potential collateral damage; there is a sense of powerlessness regarding Ferguson’s media engagements. “There's a danger of her going rogue and saying things that could cause embarrassment for King Charles and Queen Camilla or other members of the Royal family. But there's not much they can do to stop her,” one source previously told The Sun. Despite the anxiety among aides, Maede suggests that the monarchy itself remains largely insulated from the former duchess’s personal PR battles.

Maede concluded, “I don’t think another tell-all interview will spell the end of the monarchy, especially if the person being interviewed is Sarah Ferguson.” Whether the former duchess decides to take the stage remains to be seen, but the warning from Jared Meade is clear: if the interview is perceived as a PR exercise to control the narrative, it may end up being the final blow to her already battered public image.
