Want to See Meghan Markle in Australia? Her Exclusive Retreat Comes With a Big Price Tag
The retreat, organized by Jackie 'O' Henderson's event company, will run from April 17 to April 19 at the InterContinental Hotel in Coogee.
Ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's highly anticipated Australia tour, fans have another reason to be excited as the Duchess of Sussex is set to headline a gala dinner at the Her Best Life retreat. The exclusive event, organized by radio star Jackie 'O' Henderson's event company, Besties, will run from April 17 to April 19 at the InterContinental Hotel in Coogee, Sydney. But getting up close and personal with Markle won't come cheap. As per the company’s website, fans have to shell out a hefty $2,699, with spots limited to just 300 attendees.
As mentioned on the website, early bird tickets are priced at $2,699 and include a two-night stay at the hotel, exclusive entry to the gala dinner, meals and drinks, along with access to speaker sessions and wellness activities. Those who wish to splurge and opt for a VIP experience will need to pay $3,199, which comes with perks such as a 'group table photo' with Markle and access to seats in the front two rows. The retreat is restricted to 300 attendees and will include yoga and meditation sessions, along with some time with a psychologist.
According to HELLO!, Gemma O'Neill, who co-founded Besties with Henderson and co-hosts the Her Best Life podcast, announced the happy news on her podcast, "I know what you're all thinking, because I'm thinking the same thing. How has Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, this incredible woman, gone from Oprah to talking on stage with just little old me, Gemma, in Sydney?" She added, "I have admired this woman and what she has endured, how she's risen above it, and how she has demonstrated that a woman can be pushed down and she can still rise."
Explaining that the Duchess had agreed to be a guest speaker "as a favor for our mutual friend," O'Neill shared, "I spoke to Jackie about it; this was a few months ago now, and I tried to beg her to come and do it, or I tried to beg her to take over the event, and she was adamant. She said, 'No, Gemma, you need to do this yourself. This is meant to be for you.'" Henderson had exited from the podcast in February 2026 and will most likely not be involved in the retreat or interview with Markle.
As for Harry and Markle's upcoming mid-April Australia visit, the couple announced via their spokesperson that they would "take part in a number of private, business, and philanthropic engagements." Meanwhile, their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are not expected to travel with them to the country. The trip will mark their first return to the country in seven years after their successful 2018 tour as working royals. Previously, the Duke of Sussex had gushed that their 2018 Australia tour 'really changed' how his family viewed his wife, claiming Markle showed them how 'effortlessly' she took to royal duties.
