Prince Harry shocked residents in London on May 10 when he aimlessly went door-to-door, ‘looking for a friend.’ The Duke of Sussex was even caught on a doorbell camera knocking on the wrong door in his search. Commenting on the incident, royal expert Samara Gill claimed that Harry has become ‘erratic’ and ‘unstable’—particularly after his recent court loss over state-funded security.

As reported by The Sun, Harry allegedly knocked on at least three different homes before finally finding his friend's residence. Gill told the outlet, “The fact he's been pining over security and protection, but actually in the real world doesn't really care, it shows a lot.” The news commentator opined that the real reason why Harry has been seeking protection is so that he is on par with his brother, Prince William. She explained, “It's just feeding into this paranoia that Harry has increasingly been showing, and he looks very displaced in the ring photograph.”

Gill’s claims were also echoed by royal photographer Arthur Edwards, who questioned why the Duke would randomly forget where his friend lived. Edwards opined, “He must have a poor memory or not seen his friends for a long while because he knocked on three or four doors.” He added, “It was bizarre, and what was strange was that it was the day when he was in court trying to get the government to pay for his police protection.” Just a week earlier, on May 2, the Duke of Sussex had given a bombshell interview to the BBC where he claimed he felt 'unsafe' without taxpayer-funded security. He also admitted that he could not bring his wife, Meghan Markle, and children to the UK because the courts had ruled against his appeal.

After Harry rang the wrong doorbell, the housekeeper who answered didn’t recognize him. The owners of the house revealed, “We only really noticed once neighbors started talking — and then we were like, ‘Oh yes!’” Another source who spotted the clueless Prince dished, “Two of the houses he knocked at are at completely opposite ends of the road, which is about half a mile long…I don’t think many people would just walk down a road knocking on doors, let alone if you don’t feel safe.” The doorbell incident is allegedly not the first time that Harry was accused of taking a security risk.

It was reported that a few days before the incident, Harry had visited his pal Lord Charles Vivian’s luxury home. A Deliveroo driver was spotted arriving at the £8 million townhouse in Chelsea with food, despite royals usually avoiding such deliveries for safety concerns. Former royal bodyguard Ken Wharfe slammed the Duke’s decision and told the Daily Mail, “It's unbelievable that such a high-profile person, who considers themselves to be such a high-security risk, would allow themselves to have a Deliveroo driver arrive at a house with no idea of who they are and what they might be carrying in their bag.”
