Princess Kate has clearly made her Wimbledon appearances one of her most cherished royal traditions, making her one of the most cherished guests year after year. This is exactly why royal watchers have come to expect her presence for the games. However, this year’s Championships may be all the more special. This is thanks to the Princess’s unexpected Day 4 visit, which broke many of her usual traditions associated with the Wimbledon Championship Games.

But it seems like Middleton is not quite done yet. After all, she personally congratulated Arthur Fery on a historic run by taking to X (formerly Twitter), where she wrote, "A memorable day at @Wimbledon. Congratulations to Arthur Fery on becoming the first British wildcard to reach the Gentlemen's Singles semi-finals in the Open Era, a fantastic achievement that has inspired so many. Wishing you the very best for the next round. C." This has clearly ended up fueling some major speculations that the Princess of Wales might make another surprise appearance before this year’s Championships come to a final close. After all, as soon as the message caught ardent royal watchers’ attention, many believed it might be a hint that Middleton is preparing for another unannounced visit to Wimbledon.

Furthermore, during her July 2 visit, Middleton, who looked fabulous, also surprised fans by skipping the traditional Royal Box. Instead, she headed directly to the celebrated Wimbledon Queue. There, she ended up chatting with fellow spectators, posing for selfies and photos with fans, and handing out tickets as she stepped behind the ticket counter, while also processing payments. This unexpectedly grounded visit has made it very difficult to predict whether Middleton will actually make another surprise appearance at the games. In fact, being a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, she tends to have absolute autonomy over her visitations. This means that her attendance isn’t usually announced or confirmed ahead of time.

Still, Middleton’s unexpected recent presence is proof that another such appearance cannot be ruled out entirely. According to Royal experts who discussed this with HELLO!, the Princess of Wales traditionally focuses on the biggest moments of Wimbledon by attending the Singles finals. This is why they expect her to return over the weekend, because she might actually present trophies to the winners. For now, if one thing is clear, it’s the fact that Royal watchers will definitely keep their eyes fixated on the Royal Box over the weekend, hoping to catch a glimpse of Middleton’s arrival during the Championship game.
