Her final 2020 post featured a childhood memory with her father alongside a photo of her husband, Jack Brooksbank, with his own dad. The lack of a public Father's Day tribute from Eugenie comes during a difficult period for the York family, after Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were stripped of their titles and now live in isolation. Sky News reported that while Eugenie immediately shared her third pregnancy with her mother, she didn't call her father. Instead, Sarah Ferguson reportedly passed along the news that another baby was arriving this summer, meaning "Andrew found out that he was to be a grandpa again via Sarah." The two have reportedly experienced a breakdown in communication ever since he was stripped of his titles and had to vacate his royal residence.
