Like most of us, Princess Eugenie went through some highs and lows in 2021, and she's giving fans a glimpse as to what she went through.
"Happy New Year to all.. Goodbye 2021. A year that blessed us with our boy and saw our family grow with new additions but also a year that took some of our biggest and brightest lights. Forever in our hearts ♥️," she captioned several shots via Instagram on January 1.
The brunette beauty uploaded new shots of her son, August, a photograph of her grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who passed away in April 2021 at 99 years old.
She also shared a photo of Jack Brooksbank's late father, George Brooksbank, who died shortly before August's christening in November.
Of course, people loved the mom-of-one's sweet snaps. One person wrote, "@princesseugenie what a beautiful caption, and what a lovely picture of Gus christening! 😍Those lights will always light up your lives! Happy new Year, felice anno nuovo! ❤️," while another added, "Happy New Year to you both. May you enjoy your family life and please keep posting your happy smiles and thoughtful , encouraging work.👏👏."
A third person added, "Happy New Year ahead! Wishing you and yours a healthy and peaceful year, full of love and happiness. 💐❤️."
Ever since Eugenie gave birth to her son in February 2021, she hasn't been shy about posting about him on social media.
Eugenie is also excited that August now has a cousin, as her sister, Princess Beatrice, gave birth in September to a girl named Sienna.
"To my dearest Beabea and Edo, Congratulations on your new angel," she gushed. "I can't wait to meet her and I'm so proud of you. We're going to have so much fun watching our children grow up.
