Princess Anne Stuns Jogger With Her No-Nonsense Reply During Private Holiday
Princess Anne proved yet again why she is one of the most beloved royals with just two simple words.
Chance encounters with celebrities can leave someone starstruck, and such was the case with digital creator Finlay Jacobs, who recently shared a similar experience with none other than Princess Anne during his morning run. Unsurprisingly, the Princess Royal greeted him in a no-nonsense fashion that she is best known for.
Jacobs shared the story of meeting Anne during a morning jog on his Instagram page. "I just went past this house, and this Land Rover pulls up as I'm running by, and this lady gets out. (Anne) goes, 'Hello', and I was like, 'Hi’,” he said as reported by HELLO! He allegedly had to double-take to ensure she was indeed the Princess Royal. “I looked again, and I'm like, it's Princess Anne, Princess Anne of Scotland, it's like, 'What the heck!’” he added.

However, it was not simply sighting her that must have left Finlay awestruck. Anne, who is herself a sportsperson, also cheered him on with two simple words. “She looks at me and goes, 'Keep going!'” he further shared.
This certainly isn’t the first time that Anne has impressed her fans with her fuss-free attitude.
Finlay shared, “I wanted to stop for a photo or something, get her in the video. But I guess I was like, I'll keep going because I'm not going to disturb her. She's obviously out here for privacy. But yeah, what a weird situation.”
The brief brush with royalty comes as Anne spent her summer break with the rest of the royal family at Balmoral. Last week, the royals were spotted attending Sunday church service at Crathie Kirk near the Scottish castle. The Princess Royal has been a pillar of strength for the monarchy, carrying it through turbulence over the years. As the royal family will seemingly face a new test in the form of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK, Anne may play a key role in holding the Firm together.
