Prince Harry Reveals the One Show Archie and Lilibet Can’t Get Enough Of: ‘They Absolutely Love It'
During the Invictus Games “One Year to Go” celebration in Birmingham, Prince Harry shared a sweet update about his children.
Over the years, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have become two of the most closely watched royal children despite living away from the spotlight in California. Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rarely share any updates or photos of their children, even the smallest revelations that give a glimpse of their everyday lives often spark widespread discussion among royal fans. For instance, during his most recent outing in Birmingham, the Duke of Sussex spoke about his life at home with his kids and revealed the popular British television show the siblings 'absolutely love' to watch.
While attending the Invictus Games 'One Year to Go' celebration in Birmingham, Harry made a live appearance on This Morning, where presenter Alison Hammond briefly interviewed him. Although he initially seemed slightly nervous, he quickly became comfortable as the conversation turned to the upcoming Games, a cause which is believed to be very close to his heart. Harry then spoke about his family, expressing how proud he is of his wife and their two children.
It was during this conversation that Harry revealed Archie and Lilibet are big fans of Hammond on Junior Bake Off, the popular children's version of The Great British Bake Off. He said, “My kids love you in Junior Bake Off. They absolutely love it; it's far better than the grown-up version.” This playful revelation comes at a time when the siblings are expected to make a short visit to the UK this weekend with their mother. While they will not be making any public appearance, it's important to note that this would be the first time they visit their father’s home country since 2022.
Several media reports have suggested that the Sussexes may visit Althorp House, where the late Princess Diana is buried, during their time in Britain. Speculations also suggest that Archie and Lilibet could finally get to reunite with their grandfather, King Charles, but no such meeting has been officially confirmed yet. The Duke, Duchess, and their two children were expected to travel to the UK together earlier in the week, but plans reportedly changed after Harry learned that he would not be receiving armed police protection.
While the security issues persist, the Duke made sure that his latest outing was all about the Games. After a busy day at the countdown event, Harry gave a heartfelt speech stating, "To bring the Games back to the UK – thirteen years after London 2014 – feels incredibly special. Not just because this is where the Invictus journey first began, but because Britain has always understood the importance of service, resilience, and standing together when it matters most." He further added, "What has struck me walking around the arena today is just how many faces I recognize from those different groups that were part of that original journey back in 2014."
