Prince Harry Is ‘Happier’ in Britain While Meghan Markle Has a Very Different Reaction, Source Says
It has reportedly been made clear that Sussexes might not want their old California life anymore.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently made their grand return to Britain, with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to various reports, they travelled 10 hours from California to the U.K. on an excruciatingly expensive private flight just to bring their two pet dogs, Mamma Mia and Pula, along for the ride. According to insiders, who reportedly spoke to Rob Shuter on Naughty But Nice, Harry hasn’t even entirely unpacked his bags yet; however, he seems to already be enjoying just how ‘energized’ he feels. In fact, he seems to be ‘rediscovering’ the person that he used to be before he left Britain to move to California with his wife and son. Meanwhile, it seems like Markle is allegedly experiencing a very different feeling.
According to the source, who elaborated on this differentiation, “Within hours of landing, Harry was happier, lighter and more himself. He’s thrilled to be home. Britain is familiar to him in a way California never was, and you can see the difference immediately.” Furthermore, it seems like he has already been working hard to reconnect with all of his distant family, old friends, and acquaintances.
He seems to already be reaching out to them to rebuild bonds that he might have distanced himself from as he was forced to move away from the royal identity. An insider also explained this in detail by saying, “There are people Harry effectively dumped when he left. He moved on and never looked back.”
While discussing his current move, they further added, “Now he’s reaching out again and beginning to acknowledge that walking away from everything may have been a huge mistake.” Beyond this, according to sources, he has also reconnected and spoken with his father, King Charles, once again. While there's been no real movement on his royal role, his responsibilities, or the rift with Prince William, reconnecting with his father marks a significant step forward. On the other hand, it has been reported that Markle is feeling a major shock. Apparently, she has been having a rather difficult time with her family’s return. The reported contrast between the Sussexes’ feelings is undoubtedly hard to ignore.
While discussing this, another source explained, “She cannot believe she’s back. Markle spent years building a completely different life in California. Returning to a country where she felt deeply unhappy and unwelcome is emotionally jarring.”
Meanwhile, another insider expressed his opinion by saying, “Harry has come alive. He’s reconnecting with his father, his friends and his old life. Meghan is shell-shocked. The happier Harry becomes in Britain, the more obvious it is that they may no longer want the same life.” However, neither the Sussexes nor their representatives have officially commented on these claims yet.
