The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly chartered a private plane through Planet 9. Aviation estimates put the flight at roughly $12,000 per hour, making the 10-hour journey extremely costly. According to specs for the Bombardier Global Express XRS, the ultra-luxurious aircraft features two bathrooms, ultra-comfortable seating for up to 13 passengers, multiple sleeping berths, and generous storage capacity holding 14 to 15 suitcases. An insider told Page Six that the couple opted for a private jet specifically to bring their family dogs—Pula, a black Labrador retriever, and Mia, a beagle—to the UK. However, PEOPLE reports that the family decided to leave their chickens behind at their Montecito home to continue residing in "Archie’s Chick Inn," the coop named after their seven-year-old son and featured on Markle’s Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. As the children prepare to start new schools next week, the Sussexes plan to settle into a new, non-royal residence and focus on their private business ventures.
