Prince Andrew and Fergie are Reportedly Planning to Leave the UK and 'Stay Under The Radar'

After years of being embroiled in controversy, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson may finally be ready to pack their bags, after giving up their titles for good. After a series of humiliations that forced the Prince to publicly denounce his titles and saw his coat of arms removed from St. George’s Chapel, a move typically saved up for traitors, an insider suggested that the couple had come to a decision. A source close to the couple suggested that the former Duke and Duchess are orchestrating a move abroad.

The speculation follows after Andrew was caught red-faced lying about his associations with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. His ex-wife, who was still a Duchess despite their divorce, was forced to change her social media handle, and the same was reflected on the royal family’s website.
Now, there has been mounting pressure on the two to give up their 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge, which they have been residing in for decades, despite their divorce in 1996. Reportedly, it is the ‘iron-clad’ lease agreement that has given them the privilege. But now, as per reports, King Charles and Buckingham Palace’s patience is wearing thin. As per The Telegraph, discussions about his eventual 'evacuation' are already in advanced stages.

Andrew Lownie, author of the damning biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks, believes that the Yorks are plotting for their 'Yorkxit,' and it will be far, far away from Windsor. “If they do leave Royal Lodge, they’ll want to stay under the radar,” he said, noting that Ferguson recently sold her London property in Belgravia. “She might move to Switzerland,” Lownie added, referencing the family’s past ties to a Verbier chalet, while Andrew could follow her lead, particularly once Prince William becomes king.
But for now, what is protecting him is the lease. “He has this ironclad lease as long as he maintains the terms,” Lownie said on HELLO!’s A Right Royal podcast. “The only way he can go is voluntarily — but the optics look terrible for a non-working royal in a 30-room mansion.” Meanwhile, other insiders have claimed that the couple has put two conditions for giving up the mansion. They have reportedly asked for two homes in return, one being the Sussexes' previous abode, and the second being Adelaide Cottage, which the Walses are soon to switch for Forest Lodge.

Lownie revealed that the Prince was gifted a lavish residence in Abu Dhabi by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, complete with full staff and a view of the Persian Gulf, which also remains an option. He said, “Probably he’s being encouraged to go to his palace in Abu Dhabi or to take up a Swiss nationality.”
