Meghan Markle ‘Up for’ Joint Appearance With Harry as Archie and Lilibet Settle Into UK Life
With Archie and Lilibet settled into British life, Meghan Markle is ready to revive her acting career and step out with Prince Harry.
It’s been nearly two months since Meghan Markle moved to the UK with Prince Harry, and she has largely stayed out of the spotlight. Now, the Duchess is gearing up for a joint public appearance with her husband, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet reportedly settling well into life in Britain. A source close to Markle has also revealed that she’s ready to return to work and champion the causes she cares about most.
A close friend of Markle told HELLO!, “She's up for it. There are still causes and there are still issues that Meghan is really passionate about supporting, and Nottingham is one of those.”
The couple stepped away from royal duties in March 2020, but for their upcoming visit to Nottingham, they will stop by three charitable organizations in the city. “There's a nice synergy there with them being back in the UK, it being their first engagement as a couple here and their first since they’ve been back in the UK. Nottingham holds a special place in their hearts,” the source revealed.
With Archie and Lilibet now spending their school days in the classroom, Markle has a little more room in her schedule to take on other commitments. While her As Ever brand has a dedicated team handling daily operations, she is also hoping to make time for acting and the charitable causes close to her heart.
The insider told the outlet that there’s still plenty keeping her busy, explaining, "Her diary is full. It's the kids, As Ever, acting and then supporting good causes in whatever time she has left over. But she's got a really good team around As Ever, the children are a bit older, they are both in school full time."
With Archie and Lilibet settling in well and “really enjoying school,” Meghan has more time to revisit her acting career. As the source puts it, she can now “stick her head above the parapet a little bit more” and give her original vocation as an actor more attention.
“She's looking at loads of acting offers. She's meeting a lot of writers and creatives and reading a lot of scripts. If there's anything that stands out as being amazing, then she'll do it,” the friend added.
