Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were invited to join the royal family on the balcony at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, a source claimed.
It seems like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are slowly but surely inching their way back into the royal family's good graces. According to The Telegraph, multiple sources told the outlet that the couple is now invited to join the royal family on the balcony during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which kicks off in early June.
Since the two left the U.K. in 2020 and stepped down as senior members, they can appear at certain events, but they can't have a central role in the celebrations. Apparently, they also wouldn't be able to attend the Trooping the Colour.

But another insider claimed they don't want the California-based pair back in the U.K. after all.
“Charles wants the Platinum Jubilee to focus only on the Queen," an insider said, The Sun reported. “Many are disappointed that Andrew overshadowed Prince Philip's Thanksgiving service and don't want the Meghan and Harry circus to hijack the Jubilee."
“This is the Queen’s show and should be about her and her 70 years of service rather than Meghan’s fashion, the kids and Harry," the source continued. “They don’t want it to become the Harry and Meghan show. Charles and all the family are agreed on that. The royal family will be watching on at Invictus events this week concerned where Netflix will be when the Jubilee comes round. They will want to film behind the scenes or be in the crowd at the Jubilee as it is better footage for the documentary.”
Though some people may not be fans of Meghan and Harry, it seems like they are happier than ever — especially after showing some PDA during their recent trip.
