Meghan Gets Called ‘Fake’ by Half-Sister in Scathing Video Amid Claims She Reached Out to Her Dad

Meghan Markle’s family feud is back in the headlines. The Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, has launched a fresh attack on Meghan, branding her 'fake' in a fiery X post. This is not the first time Samantha has unleashed an explosive online rant, and it most definitely won’t be the last. The uproar began after Meghan’s team issued a statement suggesting she had 'reached out' to her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who is currently recovering after undergoing multiple surgeries in the Philippines. Plot twist, the Markle family has denied the same, arguing Thomas is yet to hear from Meghan. 

Thomas was hospitalized after his health deteriorated, and insiders share he hopes to reconnect with Meghan given the health scare. The father-daughter once shared a close bond until the former Suits star married into the royal family, and Thomas posed for staged paparazzi pictures. According to The Daily Mail, the Duchess has not reached out to her father, contrary to the narrative sold by her team.

Frustrated by what she views as misleading reports, Samantha lashed out at her half-sister through an AI-generated video, which showed Meghan riding a broomstick while holding a sign that read “fake as ever,” a reference to her lifestyle brand As Ever. But the satirical video was not the end of it. "Sources report seeing my sister in the area of the hospital Dad is in. Could she be living up to all of that paid PR?" Samantha wrote sarcastically in the caption of the video.

The sisters have always been at odds, and this is just one of their several public jabs at one another. She later reshared her own post and added, "If she is smart and at all humane, she will find a way to help Dad in his rehabilitation, especially since, reportedly, one of the companies she and Harry donated to manufactures prosthetics." Samantha continued, "Recovery will be a long road. It would be good for her, and it would be good for Dad. You can lead a horse to water..." Sharing an update on her father's recovery, she assured his well-wishers that he will be okay. 

Thomas has been wanting to reconcile with Meghan and even told the Daily Mail that she probably contacted an inactive email. Meanwhile, a source has disputed the report, saying the outlet failed to verify details and that Meghan did email her father but kept it private to avoid publicity. The source added that Meghan even asked reporters for his contact information and called hospitals in the Philippines to locate him, as she no longer has a working number for him.
