Rob Shuter on Substack reported that the photos of Harry and Meghan didn’t vanish by accident; they were taken down at the request of Markle’s team. According to a source, they had asked both Kris and Kim to remove the images shortly after they were posted. But for Kim, this was a problem. As one Hollywood insider put it, “Kim doesn’t do take-backs.” In her world, once you’re in a Kardashian frame, you’re part of the production. So the request to pull the photos reportedly didn’t sit well and left her more than a little irritated.

And there was more. Producers had apparently asked Markle to film a short greeting for The Kardashians on Hulu, a routine, almost ceremonial thing for high-profile guests. She declined. The refusal was described as “polite but icy,” but it landed badly on Kim’s side. An insider, summing up the mood, said she felt Meghan acted “like Buckingham Palace had arrived — and that goes down badly in Calabasas.” Against that backdrop, Kris’s later gesture of support felt even more pointed.
