King Charles Could Leave Harry 'Blindsided' With Major Inheritance Decision: Insider
Harry lost his high-profile legal battle with the UK press, but it seems there may be more in line for him, including his billion-dollar inheritance.
Prince Harry's visit to the UK to spotlight the Invictus Games has sparked fresh speculation about his relationship with his father, King Charles. Reportedly, royal insiders claim tensions have reached a new high, with one source warning that the monarch could be considering a drastic step that would leave the Duke of Sussex completely shocked.
Harry landed on home soil last week for a busy five-day schedule promoting the Invictus Games 2027, the sporting event he founded in 2014 to support wounded military veterans. However, his visit was quickly overshadowed by renewed controversy over his security arrangements and reports of disagreements over royal accommodation. There was also a last-minute change to the family's travel plans. His wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, did not travel with Harry at the start of the trip and instead joined him only during the final days of the visit.
Although the kids eventually joined their granddad, the uncertainty about their attendance reportedly "seriously hurt" Charles, who was eagerly waiting to meet his grandkids, whom he had not seen in years. Talking about the King's plight and subsequent disappointment with Harry, an insider revealed, “Harry’s behavior in the lead-up to, and during, his recent visit to the UK was almost the final straw for Charles," Sky News reported.
The source detailed, “He’s been Harry’s last remaining champion, of sorts, in the Royal Family, but after recent events, even Charles has had enough… [he's] over the drama and chaos. He never wanted it to come to this, but now it’s so serious; Harry’s inheritance could even be on the line.” The publication also reported that some in royal circles speculate that the King could permanently cut Harry off by removing him from his will, a move that would “totally blindside” him.
The reported tension, however, did not hamper the King's reunion with his grandkids. On Friday, Harry and Markle took Archie and Lilibet to visit Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. There were no photos of the said "private family occasion," but as per insiders, the kids were "awestruck" after meeting their grandfather.
Detailing their reunion, an insider told Woman's Day, "It has really opened the door for Harry to tell them more about their heritage and what it means to be a part of the monarchy. It really can't be overstated how integral Archie and Lili are when it comes to forging a path forward with the King and the rest of the Royal Family."
