Despite Prince Harry's public plea for reconciliation in his BBC interview, three senior royals reportedly are dead against King Charles reuniting with his youngest. Insiders reveal that Queen Camilla, Kate Middleton, and Prince William are ‘blocking’ the King from reaching out to Harry, as their wounds are still allegedly fresh from Harry’s many damaging remarks.

As per The Times, although the King is battling cancer, reconciliation with his son may not come soon. An insider revealed that Charles is still disappointed by Harry’s cruel remarks about Camilla in his memoir, Spare. As per Cosmopolitan, the Duke penned, “She was the villain, she was a third person in the marriage, she needed to rehabilitate her image…and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there was going to be people or bodies left in the street because of that.” Alluding to the same, the source claimed that “in Charles's mind” Harry has “most egregiously crossed the line in attacking the Queen.”

The Duke of Sussex is no stranger to airing his private family matters in various interviews. In his memoir, Harry also threw William and Middleton under the bus, just like he did to Camilla. He alleged that the Prince and Princess of Wales treated Meghan Markle poorly during her time in the royal fold. Commenting on whether the Waleses would ever reunite with Harry, another source spilled, “As long as William, Kate, and Camilla have a say in the matter, Harry will be left out in the Californian wilderness.” The three royals are allegedly strongly opposed to Charles reconciling with Harry.

As for the King, The Times claims that the monarch is “bemused by Harry's repeated airing of laundry.” The outlet quoted a close friend of the King who shared that the subject of his rift with Harry is so ‘tender’ that he doesn't even discuss it with his pals. The insider added, “It seems to me one of those things that, if you wanted to have a cheerful evening or cheerful lunch, is probably best not to mention.” Following Harry’s scathing BBC interview, Charles is reportedly “frustrated and upset” at Harry. A source also told Hello! magazine that the monarch has 'zero trust' and sees it as yet another betrayal.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich also told Fox News Digital that a reconciliation between Harry and Charles remains ‘extremely unlikely.’ She explained, “King Charles cannot have a private conversation with his wayward son without the fear of Harry revealing to the media the content of such a private family discussion.” She added, “Harry’s statements reflect a sense of resignation regarding the lamentable state of their relationship, which remains deeply fractured.”
