Brooklyn Beckham Shows Rare Support For Harry & Meghan — Then Things Got Interesting
Brooklyn Beckham briefly shared a photograph posted by Meghan Markle, only for it to disappear from his feed roughly an hour later. The image in question was a tender family moment that Markle posted on Valentine’s Day. The image featured Prince Harry cradling his daughter, Princess Lilibet, at sunset. The young Princess, dressed in a pink frock and tights, clutched a large cluster of red balloons as her father looked at her affectionately. Markle captioned the photo, “These two + Archie = my forever Valentines.”
Brooklyn utilized Instagram’s relatively new repost feature to share the image on his own profile. Whether the removal was intentional or the result of confusion over the platform’s updated functions remains unclear; many users have reportedly found the repost tool difficult to navigate. However, a source told HELLO! that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, had previously spent time with the Sussexes, suggesting the online interaction was not entirely out of the blue.
Indeed, Harry and Markle hosted Brooklyn and his wife at their Montecito home in early 2025 during a group dinner. Observers have often noted parallels between the two marriages; both Markle and Nicola were actresses before marrying into globally recognized families. At the same time, both Harry and Brooklyn have publicly navigated strained relationships with their parents.
Commenting on the same, during a Sky News broadcast, the anchor asked commentator Esther Krakue whether it would be wise for Brooklyn to seek guidance from the Duchess of Sussex. Krakue said, “Well, obviously not. And, you know, usually these kinds of insider scoops are quite dubious at the best of times. However, there is a form for this actually to have some credibility.” The broadcast also discussed Brooklyn following the Markle way. “It appears an Oprah Winfrey sit-down interview could be on the cards for Brooklyn Beckham, following reports that Markle has been offering herself as a mentor following this family breakup bombshell. The 26-year-old has apparently been receiving support from the Duchess of Sussex since he posted on Instagram about his family and the breakdown,” the commentator said.
She went on to talk about the history between the two sets of families. David and Victoria Beckham were guests at Harry and Markle’s 2018 wedding, and David had prior contact with the Duke through royal engagements. Yet, according to Krakue, the relationship later cooled. “We do remember that the Beckhams were actually at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding… But it wasn't really a close friendship. And then we find out a few years later that the couple had fallen out, allegedly because the Sussexes didn't trust the Beckhams and they felt like they were the source of leaks about their private lives. So they cut off that relationship.”
