In Photos: Meghan Markle’s Magical Mother’s Day Outing With Archie, Lilibet & Mom Doria
Mouse House Adventure
The world had been waiting to see how Meghan Markle celebrated Mother’s Day, and the update is finally here. The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a heartwarming carousel featuring glimpses of her special day with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, along with her mother, Doria Ragland. The family spent the day at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort, and from exploring the park to enjoying fun-filled moments together, the outing looked nothing short of magical.
Peck of Love
While Mother’s Day is special for Markle and her kids, she did not forget to make her own mother feel celebrated on the occasion. In the very first photo from the carousel, Markle shared a tender moment with her own mother, planting a sweet kiss on her cheek as Ragland smiled brightly at the heartwarming gesture. Ragland looked hyped up for the day, dressed in a beige button-down shirt and jeans, closely twinning with Markle except for the color of their shirts. The mother-daughter duo also wore matching Mickey Mouse ears headbands, adding to the spirit of the magical place.
Lucky Oswald
And what’s a trip to Disneyland without a little Oswald fun? Like every other kid their age, Archie and Lilibet seem to be big fans of Oswald, as they were seen happily entering the Oswald Tire arena, holding their parents’ hands. In another adorable moment from the carousel, Markle was also seen playing hide-and-seek with Archie inside the Disney Princess section, where the little prince cheekily hid behind a pillar.
Princess Diaries
Lilibet also lived her princess dream by hugging Disney Princess Cinderella. For the day, the young royal was dressed in an adorable sleeveless floral print dress, which she paired with nude bellies and a pink glittery Minnie Mouse cap. Her brother, Archie, on the other hand, donned a black t-shirt and blue jeans along with his Mickey Mouse ears.
Down the Memory Lane
Archie and Lilibet also went on a boat ride, and the day surely seemed filled with love, laughter, and joy. Disneyland holds fond memories for both Harry and Markle, and the couple is passing it down to their kids as well. Sharing his own experiences from the wonderland, Harry, during an interview, revealed, "I went with my mom and my brother. I remember it very, very well.” He continued, "I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it."
Family Time
Prince Harry was also seen in high spirits on the day, accompanying his family dressed in a pair of dark blue button-down shirt and jeans. However, he ditched the Mickey Mouse headbands that his entire family wore in favor of a beige cap. Just like Harry, Disneyland holds special memories for Markle. She previously shared how, as a "Southern California girl," Disneyland was "more accessible" to her, but it was "still the biggest treat in the world."
